Blueprint (cyanotype) made from locally-sourced feathers and exposed using natural Scottish rays of sunshine.
Exposed during the long hot Scottish summer of 2025. The dried print used as bookbinding cover during winter 2026. The cover features a variety of found feathers - some I've had for years. Featuring a Greater Spotted Woodpecker among others on the front cover. Peacock feather on the reverse.
Button & thread pocket on the inside front cover. Plain text pages suitable for sketching, water colours or writing.
Dyed thread in cyanotype process to create an ultramarine thread: Hand-stitched text pages, page marking ribbon.
