Blueprint (cyanotype) made from found feathers and exposed using natural Scottish rays of sunshine.
Prints made under the blue skies of Scottish summer 2025. The cover features a variety of found feathers - some I've had for years. Featuring a Greater Spotted Woodpecker among others on the front cover. Buzzard feathers on the reverse. The dried print used as bookbinding cover during winter 2026.
Button & thread pocket on the inside front cover. Plain text pages suitable for sketching, water-colour or writing.
Dyed book-thread in cyanotype to create an ultramarine thread: Hand-stitched text pages, page marking ribbon.
